Terms and Conditions of Service: Trinity Surface Solutions

1. Definitions

  • "The Company" refers to Trinity Surface Solutions.

  • "The Client" refers to the individual or business purchasing Services.

  • "Services" refers to the surface repair, respray, or restoration work as outlined in the Quotation.

  • "Quotation" refers to the estimated cost for work provided by the Company.

2. Payment Terms

2.1 A 20% non-refundable deposit is required to secure the project date and/or start date.

2.2 The remaining 80% balance is due upon project completion and must be paid within 7 days of the invoice date. 2.3 The Company reserves the right to charge interest on late payments in accordance with the Late Payment of Commercial Debts (Interest) Act 1998 where applicable.

3. Project Scope & Variations

3.1 The quoted price covers only the services specifically outlined in the approved Quotation.

3.2 Any additional work, or changes requested by the Client after approval, will incur extra charges which will be discussed and agreed upon before proceeding.

3.3 While Trinity Surface Solutions strives for an invisible finish, the Client acknowledges that repair results can vary depending on the age, condition, and material of the original substrate.

4. Cancellations & Site Access

4.1 The 20% deposit is non-refundable to cover administrative costs and lost scheduling.

4.2 If the Client cancels the project after work has begun, the Client is responsible for payment for all work completed up to the cancellation date.

4.3 If work completed exceeds the deposit amount, the Client must pay the outstanding balance within 7 days.

4.4 The Client must ensure the work area is accessible and clear of obstructions. If the Company cannot perform work due to lack of access or site unreadiness, a call-out fee may apply.

5. Guarantees

5.1 10-Year Respray Guarantee

We provide a 10-year guarantee on all respray/colour change projects, including kitchens, windows, conservatories, composite doors, and garage doors.

  • This covers the materials used against peeling, cracking, and significant colour fading.

  • The materials used include the ‘Surface13’ additive for enhanced bacterial and fungal resistance.

  • This guarantee is valid from the date the repair is completed and covers defects in workmanship and materials supplied by us.

5.2 12-Month Sanitary Repair Guarantee

We provide a 12-month guarantee on all sanitary repair works (e.g., baths, sinks, shower trays).

  • Conditional Adherence: This guarantee is strictly conditional upon proper aftercare being followed. Failure to follow the maintenance, cleaning methods, or usage guidelines provided at the time of repair will void this guarantee.

  • Cleaning Restrictions: The use of abrasive cleaners, abrasive cloths, or bleaches is strongly advised against. These can cause discolouration and lead to repair failure. We recommend regular cleaning with hot soapy water only.

  • Rectification: If a fault arises within the 1-year period due to our workmanship or materials—and aftercare has been followed—we will rectify the issue at no additional cost.

  • Exclusions: This guarantee does not cover:

    • Damage caused by misuse, neglect, or accidental impact.

    • Issues resulting from third-party work or structural movement.

    • General wear and tear consistent with normal usage.

    • Trinity Surface Solutions reserves the right to request proof of aftercare adherence.

6. Liability

6.1 Trinity Surface Solutions carries Public Liability Insurance.

6.2 The Company’s total liability for any claim shall not exceed the total price paid for the Services.

6.3 The Company is not liable for pre-existing damage or underlying structural issues discovered during the repair process.
